Many of us have seen the heartbreaking news out of Houston and surrounding areas and have a deep desire to be of assistance. Our church has proud history of helping those who are hurting, and we have made plans to help and you can help in a couple of ways.

You may contribute monetary donations to North Carolina Baptist Men either online or by mailing a check to:

P.O. Box 1107
Cary, NC 27512
Memo line of check: Disaster Relief - Hurricane Harvey

We will also be receiving a love offering during the Sunday morning worship service on September 10 to go toward the North Carolina Baptist Men's Disaster Relief Fund to help the people of Texas and Louisiana.

McDowell Hall will serve as a community donation collection center until September 15. Donations are limited to:

  • Hygiene Kits: Use a 1 gallon Ziploc bag and fill with a variety of the following: Soap, lotion, shampoo, deodorant, washcloth, comb / brush, facial tissue, shaving cream / razor, toothbrush / toothpaste, feminine hygiene products.
  • First Aid Kits: Purchase (for up to $10 each) at grocery stories and pharmacies.
  • Diapers and formula

These are the immediate needs and what will be accepted now.

Other relief elements will be recommended at a later time. Please keep the people of Texas and Louisiana in your prayers as they recover from the aftermath of this storm.
