Welcome to Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church!

We are a fellowship of followers of Jesus Christ committed to embodying His presence to Sanford and the world.

Originally established as the St. John's Mission in 1869, JHBC continues today as a vibrant, diverse, welcoming congregation. We offer a wide array of opportunities for worship, Bible study, spiritual formation, ministry, and fellowship for all ages. Through our partnership with larger Baptist bodies and local ministries as well as frequent volunteer mission opportunities nearby and around the world, we engage in hands-on relationship-driven missions. In our worship, our ministry, and our life together, we experience an accepting and caring sense of family—our family of faith.
